About Government College of Pharmacy
Government College of Pharmacy is one of the best government colleges in Bangalore city. It opened its doors in the year 1964. Initially, this college offered only two D. Pharm. and B. Pharm courses. Later on, M.Pharm. the course was also introduced.
For D.Pharm it intakes 60 seats; B.Pharm - 50 seats; M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) - 8 seats; M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy) - 8 seats; M. Pharm (Pharmacology) - 08 seats; M.Pharm (pharma chemistry) - 08.
Amenities:
This college maintains well-furnished lecture hall, fully-equipped laboratories, Wi-Fi internet facilities, animal house for experiment purposes, boys hostel, auditorium, medical garden, A/C seminar hall, spacious library with more than 5000 books.
There are four sections in the library:
>Book Acquisition Section.
>Technical Processing Section.
>Circulation Section and
>Reference Section.
