About Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital
Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Chandigarh is approved by the Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi (a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare). Established in 1974, Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital Chandigarh is a self-financed institution, affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh.
Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital Chandigarh admits students for an undergraduate course in homoeopathy, namely, Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS). The course is of five and a half year's duration with one year of compulsory internship. The college enrols 50 students to the course, every year. It provides modern facilities to its students.
The Homeopathy Medical College was set up in the year 1974 and is spread over 35000 square feet area. The college offers facilities like OPD, IPD, teaching areas, library with 8000 books and IT systems with Homeopathy software and university library. The college is also attached to the government medical college and hospital for practical training related to the hospital.
