About Vidyasagar College of Education
Vidyasagar College of Education is a self-financing training institution to achieve B.Ed degree which is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, Eastern Regional Committee shortly known as NCTE ERC and affiliated to the University of Gour Banga which is shortly known as UGB.
The college is located at Vill - Dhaldighi, P.O. - Kaldighi Gangarampur, Dist - Dakshin Dinajpur, West Bengal, Pin - 733124.
Vidyasagar College of Education offers the B.Ed. course of 2 years duration.
The intake capacity of the college is 100 fresher candidates.
Eligibility for admission
1. The college allows both fresher and deputed candidates who have at least 50% marks in the Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 std.) or in the Master's degree obtained from a recognized university.
2. Applicants must have at lest 50% marks in aggregate of Honors subject plus pass subjects in Bachelor degree with Honors.
3. The age of freshers should be below 38 years as on year of admission.
4. Deputed teachers having at least 1 year of teaching experience in any West Bengal Govt. / Govt. aided / Govt. sponsored schools or institutes are allowed to take admission in the college.
Admission Procedure
Interested candidates meeting the above eligibility may apply online through the official website of the University of Gour Banga, www.ugb.ac.in at the scheduled time every year against a payment of Rs. 700/-. However, and extra amount of Rs. 40/- has to be paid in case candidates want to submit fees offline through Challan at UBI branch.
