About Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous
Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous in Hosur Road, Bangalore stated in the year 1966 is perhaps one of the oldest college, the college is considered as one of the top college for providing high standard of education and also for providing best facilities to its students.
The UGC approved college functioning from four floors is running in autonomous state and also affiliated to Bangalore University, the college has the distinction of being conferred as college of excellence by UGC, Government of India.
Infrastructure
The college has provided best possible infrastructure facilities to its students which includes fully air-conditioned auditorium, LCD projects installed classrooms, laboratory facilities for all science, humanities branches, round the clock canteen facility with hygienic food supply, library with over 30,000 books, CD-ROMS, periodicals, journals, newsletters etc.
Courses offered
The college offers undergraduate programmes in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts Vocational apart from this college also offers courses in B.Voc Course consisting of Banking, Finance, Visual Communication etc., Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Bachelor of Commerce in Tourism & Management, Bachelor of Business Administration.
Whereas the college offers Post Graduate Courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Business Administration, Computer Applications at its Post Graduate Centre.
Admissions
Candidates who have passed their Pre-University are entitle to apply for the stream they have studied in their P.U.C. with not less than 50% of marks, such candidates required to obtain the specimen format of application in person from college office after making requisite payment.
