About Sanjay Gandhi Mahila Mahavidyalay
Sanjay Gandhi Mahila Mahavidyalay is situated near Bairagi More in Gaya district of Bihar.
The college was established in 1980 and is affiliated with Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, also recognized and approved by Government of Bihar.
The college used to run in a small campus but now it has moved to a new place with new infrastructure along with some new facilities that was not available earlier.
The college has new building with 24 classroom and 2 common rooms for girls.
There is also a big conference hall along with other facilities like library, laboratories, computer lab, indoor stadium, playground and staff room.
The new laboratories are well equipped with latest apparatus to enhance the learning process through practical.
There is also a big playground where students can play different games and there is also a indoor stadium for playing games like Badminton and Tennis.
The cultural society of college organizes many events and programs like dance competition, drama, singing and painting competition etc.
S.G.M Mahavidyalay offers various graduate courses in both Arts and Science streams. To take admission in this college, students need to have 10+2 passed certificate from any recognized board.
