About Krishak College, Pakri Barawan
Krishak College was established in 1978 in the rural area of Pakri Barwan in the Nawadah district of Bihar to impart quality education at affordable fee to the poor and down-trodden section of society.
The college is affiliated with Magadh University, Bodh Gaya and approved and recognized by the Government of Bihar.
Situated on a sprawling campus, the college has all the necessary resources to make the learning process easy and fun.
There are separate buildings for Science block, Arts block, Commerce block and Administrative block. The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated.
There are laboratories for many subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Zoology, Botany, Geography, Home Science etc. with all the requisite apparatus. The college has no auditorium but there is a conference room which serves for the purpose of auditorium.
There is a library having huge stock of books to help students with reference work.
There is a big playground, a cycle stand and a gymnasium in the college campus. The canteen serves hot and delicious meals and snacks to the students round the clock.
There is a separate common room for girls. The college has been promoting girl's education from the very first day.
The college mainly offers under graduate courses in numerous disciplines of Arts, Science and Commerce.
