About Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering
Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering was established in the year 1997 in Mysore, Karnataka. The college is considered one of the best colleges for providing quality education. The college is approved and recognised by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated with Visheswaraiah Technological University, Belgaum.
Courses offered The college offers undergraduate programs in basic science, computer science, civil, electrical, electronics, information science and mechanical, whereas for postgraduate programs it offers M.B.A. and M.Tech in machine design, signal processing and computer science.
Facilities The college's high point is providing a library which can accommodate over 200 students at a time, installed with 25 PC's and a collection of over 40,000 books, periodicals, journals, reference books etc.
Other activities include health awareness programs, sports, physical education, placement and training which has helped many to establish in various MNC's in India and abroad.
The college offers hostel facilities separately for boys and girls with facilities for mess and twin sharing accommodation. Apart from this, the college has a canteen facility which serves food round the clock.
Admissions for undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses is strictly on merit basis as per AICTE norms and guidelines.
