About B.d.s.l Mahila College, Ghatsila
B.D.S.L Mahila College, located at Ghatsila in Jamshedpur district of Jharkhand was established in 1982. The college has permanent affiliation with Kohan University, Chaibasa and approved and recognized by Government of Jharkhand.
Location
The college is located close to NH-33 at a distance of about 45 km from the main Jamshedpur town. The college is connected to the highway through smooth road, so it is easily accessible through any means of transport. The college is located in the tribal dominated Ghatsila sub-division and is the only girls college in that area.
Infrastructure & Facilities
The college is located in a lush green campus and the college has state of the art infrastructure. There are separate buildings for each department. The classrooms are spacious, airy and well ventilated and have all the necessary resources and facilities to enhance the learning process of students.

Hostel

Both hostels can accommodate 400 students together and these hostels act as second home for students coming from other part of state and country.
Academics
BDSL Mahila College offers courses up to Honors degree in the numerous disciplines of Arts & Commerce. The college has further plan to run Vocational and job oriented courses in near future.
