About Gour Malda College of Education
Gour Malda Colleg of Education under the control & management of Kamalpur Minority Educational Development & Welfare Society is located in the Malda district of West Bengal. The college is affiliated to Gour Banga University, Malda and approved by the West Bengal Government.
Infrastructure & Facilities
The college is located in a green campus and has average quality infrastructure. There are two classrooms which are airy and ventilated and have all the basic teaching resources.
There is a library in the campus which houses about 4000 of books including text books, reference books, reports, magazines and journals. There is also a reading room beside the library having seating capacity of more than 50 students at a time.
The college has modern laboratories for subjects like Bio-Science, Physical Science, Geography and Psychology equipped with all the latest tools, machines and apparatus.
The computer lab is equipped with modern systems running on latest software and hardware.
There are separate common rooms for both boys and girls. There is an auditorium, a conference hall, music room, store room, health center and many more.
Co-Curricular Activities
There is a big playground in the college campus where students can play a number of games like cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho etc. The college provides all the sports material and coach to students. Besides games and sports, the college also organizes various social awareness programs, workshops and seminars to increase students' interaction and develop leadership skill among students. Students are also provided opportunity to teach in various high schools to gain a real life experience in teaching.

Gour Malda College of Education offers B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) degree programs and the medium of instruction is in Bengali. The college has an excellent academic record and this has been all because of the sincere and dedicated teaching faculty.
