About Kaliachak Sultana College of Education

Kaliachak Sultana College of Education run by Nazrul Mission of Education, Health & Social Welfare was established in 2012 in the Malda district of West Bengal. The college is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga, Malda and recognized by the N.C.T.E and Government of West Bengal.

Infrastructure & Facilities

The college is located in a lush green campus and has average quality infrastructure yet it provides all the facilities to the students which enhance their learning process.
There are eight classrooms which are spacious and ventilated and are equipped with all the teaching resources.
The college library houses around 6000 books including text books, journals, reference books, Encylopedias and periodicals. There is also a reading room where 80 students can seat at a time.
There is a girls' common room and multipurpose hall within the campus. The medical and health center has first aid kid and basic medicines.
There is a canteen in the campus which serves pure and hygienic meals and snacks at reasonable rates.

Hostel Facility

The college also provides hostels facility to students coming from the different part of the city and state to pursue B.Ed and D.El.Ed course at KSCE. The college management provides all the necessary facilities to students which ensures a pleasant stay to students.

Extracurricular Activities

The college provides indoor and outdoor games facility to students. Besides games and sports various other co-curricular activities and competitions are organized by different societies in the college. The students are also provided opportunity to teach in various primary and high schools to gain experience in teaching and overcome their hesitation.

Academics

KSCE offers two years B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course to students. The teaching faculty at KSCE is very supportive and helpful. They stress on using new and innovative methods of teaching. Along with academics they also teach cultural and moral values to students.
