About Birosthali Teachers' Training College
Birosthali Teachers' Training College located in Malda district of West Bengal was established in 2014. The college is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Adminstration and approved by National Council of Teacher Education. The college is duly recognized by West Bengal Board of Primary Education.
Infrastructure & Facilities
The college has been blessed with a sprawling lush green campus spread over vast land area and has good quality infrastructure having separate blocks for each department. The classrooms are spacious and ventilated and have all the requisite resources and facilities which enhance the learning process. There are additional classrooms loaded with audio-visual aids and projectors to teach complex subjects and topics and making the learning process easy and fun.
There is a library in the college campus having huge stock of text books, reference books, journals, magazines and reports. There is also attached reading room with the library where students can read books from library.
There are well equipped laboratories in Physical Science, Psychology, Life Science, Educational Technology and Languages. The labs are not very modern but have enough resources to carry out the practical related with the syllabus.
The computer lab has latest computer systems and they are connected through the high speed internet. There is a gymnasium in the college campus for fitness enthusiasts.
There is a common room for girls and a multipurpose hall where many programs and events are organized by the students and the college administration.
Extracurricular Activities
The college has own playground within the campus where students can play a number of games like cricket, football, volleyball, kho-kho etc. The college also participates in games and sports events organized by the university and other colleges across the city and the state. Workshops, seminars and special classes are organized from time to time to keep the students updated with the latest teaching methods and resources.

The newly established college offers two years B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course to students.
