Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Teachers Training College is one of the premier institutes of Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal. The college is affiliated to the University of Gour Banga, Malda and approved by the Government of West Bengal.
Infrastructure & Facilities
The college has been blessed with sprawling campus spread over several acres of land area and has excellent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and ventilated and are loaded with all the requisite facilities and resources which enhance the learning process.
There are separate common rooms for girls and boys and there is also a multipurpose hall where various events and competitions are organized by the college.
There is a library having huge stock of books on different subjects and topics. The students are free to use these books for reading and reference work. The can also borrow books from the library unless they comply with the rules.
There are separate and laboratories for different subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Geography. There is also arts and crafts center. However, these laboratories and resource centers are not very modern yet it has all the required resources to fulfill the needs of students. The computer lab is equipped with latest computer system connected with through internet.
Co-Curricular Activities
A sound mind lives in a sound body, following this principal, the college stress on increasing the students' participation in games and sports. To encourage the students to take active participation in games and sports the college organizes and participates in various sports event.
The college also organizes several seminars, workshops, guest lectures and special classes to ensure all-round development of the students. Academics
NSCBTTC offers two years B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course to students. The college has produced many teachers who are spreading the light of education in the society and are working in many prominent teaching institutes across the state and the country.
