About Abdul Saheb B.Ed College
Abdul Sahed B.Ed College is located in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. The college is affiliated to WBUTTEPA and approved by the Government of West Bengal.
Infrastructure & Facilities
The college is located in a lush green campus and has good infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious and airy and have all the basic facilities that help in the smooth conduct of classes.
The college library has been stocked with large number of text books, reference books, journals, magazines and reports. There is also a reading room attached with the library where students read the books from library. All the students are free to use and borrow books from library unless they follow the rule of the library.
There are separate laboratories and resource center for subjects like Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematics, Geography etc. having all the required resources and facilities to carry out practical related with the academics.
There is proper facility of safe drinking water and parking facility within the campus.
Extracurricular Activities
The college has its own playground and there is facility of both indoor and outdoor games. There students play a number of games and sports and all the sports materials are provided by the college. Besides games and sports, the college organizes numerous seminars, workshops and special classes to increase students interaction and develop leadership skill among students.
The students are also provided opportunity to practice teaching in various primary and high schools as internship.
Academics
The college offers mainly B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) and D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) degree programs to students. The college is trying it's best to provide quality education to students and it has been successful in its pursuit to greater extent. All the staffs at this college including teaching and non-teaching staffs are very helpful and supportive and they work in a professional way.
