About Kamala Devi Sohan Raj Singhvi Jain College of Education
Being affiliated with the West Bengal University of Teachers' Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA) and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Kamala Devi Sohan Raj Singhvi Jain College of Education, shortly known as K.S.S. Jain College of Education, is a self-financed minority institute run under the auspices of S.S. Jain Sabha. The college was come into its existence in the year of 2006 by Shree Shwetambar Sthanakvasi Jain Sabha taking the name of Kamala Devi Sohan Raj Singhvi and acquired the affiliation on 25th August 2008.
All classrooms are constructed with 800 sq feet area having a seating capacity of more than fifty students and equipped with air condition system, green-boards etc. Facilities like medical, library having more than 3000 books, laboratories of Geography, Psychology, Technology and Language are also provided.
Various co-curricular activities like tours, cultural progammes, debate etc. are organised by the management at regular intervals.
