Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Kokar Ranchi is a constituent unit of Ranchi University, Ranchi , affiliated to Ranchi University. The college was established in year 1972. It is situated in the heart of Ranchi town at Kokar. It is one of the oldest general degree colleges in Ranchi, capital of Jharkhand state. It provides undergraduate courses in arts, commerce , Career Oriented courses and sciences.
Ram Lakhan Singh Yadav College, Kokar Ranchi , Jharkhand provides opportunity for Intermediate, undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences for students studying in the campus.
The college plays an important and significance role in motivating and educating underprivileged group of students who are coming from tribal, schedule caste, dalit and other backward populace of the state Jharkhand. The College has an Anti-Ragging Committee to free Ragging, crime or other similar incidents. It also provides special security in college campus.
