About Sant Tukaram Polytechnic
Established in 2014 by Excel Education Society, Sant Tukaram Polytechnic is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (M.S.B.T.E.) and approved by A.I.C.T.E., D.T.E. and the Government of Maharashtra. The institute is a co-educational one, with courses in the engineering disciplines of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree course is also offered.
Campus Infrastructure The campus of Sant Tukaram Polytechnic is Wi-Fi-enabled. Most of the computer labs are open daily for the students, from early hours to late night hours and three labs are open all 24 hours on a daily basis. The laboratories have the requisite equipment while workshops are equipped with all modern tools. The library has a separate reading hall and is available to the students 24x7. A canteen with snacks and meals is served in a large dining hall, with a separate one for faculty. The sports field is spacious for athletics, basketball, volleyball, football and cricket. The Student Health Center provides quick medical treatment and other health care services
Those who seek hostel accommodation can avail of the separate hostel facilities for girls and boys in Talegaon. Transportation facility is offered for the students from Talegaon station, Chakan and PCMC area.
