About the college

This college was established in the year 1949 and is situated in the district of Anantapur in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a government college approved by PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and it is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. This college offers 3 courses and 1 degree which is M. Pharm. It is the only college in India solely devoted to the R & D of oil, fats and related subjects. The college campus is spread over 11 Acres of land. The number of faculty members in this college is about 14.

The mode of admission in this college is through one National Level and State Level entrance exam such as GPAT (National Level Exam) or EAMCET Pharmacy (State Level Exam).

Facilities

There is a big library with a good collection of books and magazines. There is also a big auditorium. Apart from this, there is a cafeteria and a canteen where hygienic food is available. Other facilities include a big playground for playing different sports and games. Medical facilities are available for the students. All the labs are well equipped. The whole college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel facility is not available for the students.
