About Sir C. V. Raman Institute of Technology & Sciences
Introduction and Overview Sir C. V. Raman Institute of Technology was established in the year 2009 by B.Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy. It is a college providing courses in engineering and management. Courses are available on Computer Science, VLSI Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc. The college offers both B.Tech and M.Tech programs. Beginning with a bachelor's degree program, one may stay put until the completion of an M.Tech degree. The courses are having the same curriculum as followed in other engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The faculty is efficient and adequate in number. VLSI engineering is the first preference of many engineering aspirants.
Facilities The college has well-equipped laboratories, especially for VLSI and Electronics engineering courses. There is ample number of computers for the students to work on them. Every student gets an individual computer to work on. There is a library that students as well as teachers can access. There is free internet facility. Transport facility is available on payment basis. The students living outside Anantapur can also come to study in this college by availing hostel facility.
