Introduction and Overview

Deekshitha B.Ed. college falls under Deekshitha Educational Development Society. This college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education or NCTE. This college is a new establishment and yet it is home to a large number of students and teachers. This college provides B.Ed. courses in various subjects. If anyone wants to become a school teacher in any school of Anantapur, then he or she can take admission in this college. The college administration decides whether to take an admission test to shortlist the students for the B.Ed. courses.

Facilities

The college building is a big one. It has a moderately sized playground for the students. The college regularly organizes annual sports tournaments. The number of teachers is adequate and the teacher-student ratio is quite good. The college also organizes vocational training for dance and yoga classes. The students who wish to learn them, need to pay some additional fees in order to join these classes. The extra-curricular activities are useful in the all round development of the students.
