About Hirasugar Institute of Technology
Introduction
Hirasugar Institute of Technology located in Hukkeri Taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka is one of the renowned and reputed engineering institutions the college was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Shri Jagadguru Pancham Nijalingeshwar Trust.
This reputed college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi recognised by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka and affiliated with Visvesvaraiah Technological University, Belgaum.
Infrastructure facilities
The college offers various facilities to its students few among them are interactive classrooms which are airy and spacious in nature which is also installed with LCD Projectors, the college conducts periodical sports and cultural activities wherein it trains and allows its students to excel in various talent shows, the central library cum resource room which has a stock of over 25,000 books, national and international journals and periodicals, newsletters the college also extends the help through its book bank wherein the books will be lent for advanced studies, hostel facilities with a capacity of 700 boys in boys hostel and around 270 girls in girls hostel, hostel is provided with hygienic food facilities, round the clock electricity and water facilities etc., multi-speciality gym is an added attraction at this college, the college also offers its own transportation facilities consists of vans and buses, bank counter, ATM, co-operative society are some other facilities provided in the college campus.
