About CVM College of Fine Arts
Introduction
CVM College of Fine Arts located in Vallabh Vidyanagar in Gujarat is one of the prominent college for providing world class education for Visual Arts and other related courses.
This college was established by the highly respected educational trust known as Charutal Vidya Mandal this college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated to Sardar Patel University.

The college offers various courses as mentioned below:
- Foundation Course
In the 4 years Degree course the first year is foundation course consists of teaching fundamentals of Visual Arts which includes space, form, composition, line, colors, tints and shades, texture, dimension calligraphy, 3D design and design reproduction etc., however the students have an opportunity to select the specific course materials in the remaining 3 years as specialisation
- Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts
This course contains design and decoration to everyday objects to make them aesthetically pleasant the career options after this course lies in as graphic designer, visualizer, web-designer, communication designer, typographer, advertiser and many more all these professions are in high demand now a days
- Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts
This course consists of drawing, composition, life study, colors, tribal and folk art after this course the career options are huge like in the fields of art curator, art historian, freelance artist, art dealer, art director, art teacher, set designer and Business entrepreneur and many more
- Bachelor Degree in Sculpture
As the name itself suggest this course consists of drawing, composition, pottery and ceramics, composition on elective subjects like direct metal work, carving or assemblage in wood, mural, stone carving, metal casting, fiber casting, terracotta, fresco technique and photography, after completion of this course the opportunities are wide open in the fields of sculpture artist, art dealer, mural artist, art director, studio artists, set designer, curator and others
Admission process
Candidates who wish to join any of the courses mentioned above should have passed Higher Secondary or 10+2 candidates who have done approved diploma course in Fine Arts, Art Teachers' Diploma or any Design or Visual Arts Diploma course as a regular student after their 10th standard will be admitted on lateral entry basic directly to the 3rd semester.
