Introduction
Somashekhar R Kothiwale Institute of Technology located in Nipani city in Belgaum of Karnataka is one of the reputed and household name in the city of Nipani due to quality of education it offers with state of the art infrastructure facilities.
The college was established under the renowned educational trust known as Vidya Samvardhak Mandal the college was started in the year 1986 as a TCH college and as a full-fledged engineering college in the year 2010.
The college is approved by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi and Directorate of Technical Education, New Delhi and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

Admission process
