Since public health is an emerging area, the placements are usually off-campus. But since there are fewer graduates in public health and with increasing demand, students having masters in public health have a lot of job opportunities and they can be placed as specialists in health service administration, epidemiology, environmental health, biostatistics, nutrition, biomedicine, health education, health educators, policy analysts, epidemiologists, researchers, food safety inspectors, health inspectors, in pharmaceutical companies, in health service companies, in health insurance companies, in local/state/central government health departments, in government and private hospitals.
The Centre focuses on maintaining good relations with the alumni. The alumni share their valuable experiences and help the upcoming batches of students to get better placements. Centre for Public Health conducted the first alumni meet on 07th May 2016 and since then regular alumni meets are conducted every year.
