Introduction
Mayurbhanj School of Engineering located in Mayurbanj of Baripada district in Odisha which started offering world class professional education from the year 1994.
Till date 1000's of candidates have studied in this reputed institution and some of them has been settled in lucrative jobs.
The college is constructed in the heart of the city on a posh and huge plot of land of over 10 acres of land with lush greenery around wherein the parks with flowers and several trees surrounded the college is easily accessible through road transport.
Infrastructure facilities
The classrooms were ergonomic, fully furnished, airy and spacious with LCD Projection facility, fully air-conditioned auditorium with a capacity of not less than 500 people.
the whole college campus is Wi-Fi enabled however the laboratories and all other departments have high speed internet facilities, CCTV Surveillance, separate green room facility for boys and girls.
Hostel facility for a capacity of 250 students with TV and DTH facilities, separate study table and chair for each student in the hostel, round the clock security, supply of nutritious and delicious dishes to inmates, library and documentation centre with huge stock of books on various interests, at least 150 people can sit comfortably in the library hall, the college offers its own transportation facility, canteen facility for boarders, stores which has a stock of stationery and other important items.
Training and Placement
The college has devoted Placement and Training cell for its students employed with highly qualified, trained, experienced professionals periodical meetings, seminars, workshops, training facilities, intership in holidays apart from the above the college conducts AutoCAD Training to its students at a very nominal charges, other training modules containing English Speaking Classes, Pre Placement Training Group Discussions along with this Entrepreneurship & Employ ability Training facility is also extended to its students.
Admission process
Admissions at this college is strictly as per the guidelines of the governing body i.e., AICTE, New and Government of Odisha however the basic eligibility is pass in HSC with 35% of marks in aggregate students who seek lateral entry should have passed +2 in Science stream or its equivalent.
