Dr. T Thimmaiah Institute of Technology is one of the model Engineering college located in Oorgaum at Kolar Gold Fields in the state of Karnataka the college is duly approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The college was established in the year 1986 with a handful of students which has grown up now to become one of the leading and top-ranked engineering college.
The college offers various graduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management courses.
Infrastructure facilities
The college campus is built on a huge plot of land hence the college has provided ample space in each of its departments like classrooms, laboratory etc. The college also offers separate hostel facilities to boys and girls the hostels are attached to the college campus.
Multiple classroom blocks, laboratories with ultra-modern equipments handled by qualified and experienced support staff, library with a huge collection of various books, sports ground within the college campus wherein it has several tracks, separate courts for various outdoor sports, amphitheater, learning centre etc. are the facilities provided by the college.
