About Yenepoya Institute of Technology
Yenepoya Institute of Technology Moodabidri, Mangalore of Dakshina Kannada is one of the highly ranked engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka. The college is approved by AICTE for various streams in engineering disciplines. The college is also recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka and affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The college was established in the year 2008 and provides various infrastructure facilities to its students. Apart from providing engineering programs the college also offers several management courses.
Yenepoya Institute of Technology was established under the aegis of Yenepoya Group of Institutions and Yenepoya University, an organization well known for quality education. The campus is built at a picturesque hill station in Moodabidri, Mangalore with several modern infrastructure facilities.
State of the art classrooms with audio-visual facilities and LCD monitors, laboratories for all disciplines, library with ample, sports ground with separate courts for all major outdoor sports, transport facility and a canteen are some the major facilities offered by the college.
Apart from all the above, Yenepoya Institute of Technology also offers hostel facilities for boys and girls, a stationery shop, bank extension counter with ATM facility, basic medical facilities with doctor on call service, gymnasium, laundry service and a WiFi enabled campus.
The college has a placement and training cell for providing career services to its students. The cell organises periodical meetings and workshops by inviting industry experts to provide tips to the students. The college has set up a Centre for Professional Skill Development & Training and Centre for Advanced Computing, which conducts various soft skill and technical training programmes.
