About Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management
Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management located in Bantakal, Udupi district is one of the prominent and prestigious engineering and management colleges in Karnataka. The college is offering quality education with various infrastructure facilities since the year 2010.
The college was established by H. H. Shri Vishwavallabha Theertha Swamiji of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt, which is one of the 700 plus years old Ashta Mutts associated with the world-famous Shri Krishna Temple of Udupi in Karnataka. The college has at present around 500 boys and girls in various engineering and management programs.
Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management is approved by the AICTE. It is recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka and duly affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The college is best known for its placement and training cell which acts as a facilitator to groom its students with additional technical knowledge, personal skill sets and more importantly, ingraining humility as one of the traits in the students. The call is manned with experienced staff who have regular contact with various multinational companies in India and abroad.
The college offers facilities like, online payment gateway, a central library with a collection of 28,000 books, sports ground and WiFi enabled campus. There is a nationalised bank with ATM facility within the campus.
Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Other facilities include a cafeteria, transport facilities and an infirmary for basic medical needs.
Admissions at Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management is strictly on merit for which candidates with qualifying ranks from the Common Entrance Test for Engineering are only considered. However, the college has a few management quota seats for which the candidates to approach the college directly.
