About Wadiyar Centre For Architecture
Wadiyar Centre for Architecture located in Mysore is a globally acclaimed architecture college. The college offers various undergraduate courses in Architecture. The college is recognised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka and also by the Council of Architecture. The college is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
The College is owned and managed by a team of practicing Architects, Consulting Engineers and Educationalists. Sri Jayachamaraja Ursu Education Trust (SJUET), established in 1957 by His Highness, the Maharaja of Mysore, has founded the Wadiyar Centre for Architecture in Mysore.
Wadiyar Centre for Architecture is among the very few educational institutions established by professional architects. The campus is built on 2 acres of lush green land. The college campus is ideally a heritage structure. It is well equipped with facilities like Lecture Halls, Studios, Library, Computer Labs, Workshops, Exhibition Hall, Material Museum, etc. the infrastructure available exceeds the norms of the University and the Council of Architecture. The beautiful courtyard, where small events are held accommodates more than 150 people. Lecture halls accommodate 40 persons comfortably.
The college offers a health and safety management system to its students. Counseling during admissions and for regular students is arranged with professional counselors.
For admission at Wadiyar Centre for Architecture, candidates are required to have qualifying ranks in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test or COMED-K. The college has a few management quota seats as well.
