MES Degree College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Malleswaram, Bangalore is one among the oldest educational institutions in the city. It was established in 1958 by a group of elite citizens from Malleswaram. The college has celebrated its Diamond Jubilee in the year 2017.
The college conducts classes for all streams - Science, Commerce and Arts. The college is recognized and approved by the UGC and by the Government of Karnataka. It is duly affiliated with the Bangalore University.
The college offers various undergraduate, post-graduate and certificate courses. The college also guides research students to pursue their Ph.D. with the able guidance of distinguished faculty.
The classrooms, a bit traditional in nature, are well lit and spacious. There are laboratory facilities and a library with a big hall and well-stocked with books and journals.
The college offers several scholarships to deserving candidates. Some of the scholarships include Backward Class Scholarship, Scholarship for SC and ST students, MHRD Scholarship, Minority Scholarship, Scholarship under Defense and Military Quota, Sir CV Raman Scholarship and Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship.
