About ABC College of Education Neora Patna
ABC College of Education situated in Neora, Patna is affiliated to the Pataliputra University in Bihar. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college has a sprawling campus with very good infrastructure. The college is managed and run by Arcade Educational Trust, a charitable trust that runs on a no-profit, no-loss basis. Apart from its flagship B.Ed program, the institute also conducts a B.Com course. Arcade Educational Trust also runs a few other courses through its Arcade Business College institutes at Rajendra Nagar and Saguna More.
Facilities and infrastructure The college has some of the best facilities at its campus, including spacious laboratories, a projector room a projector and laptop for screening videos. and a library of around 39,000 sq feet with e-library facilities as well. All its departments are having modern amenities. There is an open space for sports activities, with facilities for indoor sports, too. IT and 4G internet facilities are available at its laboratories and library.
Among other things, there is RO drinking water facility, separate common rooms for boys and girls, separate washrooms at each floor for boys and girls, a spacious multipurpose hall, ample space for parking, subsidised canteen facility and transport arrangements from the main city to college and vice versa. For physically challenged students, the college has disabled-friendly arrangements. Attendance of the students is taken through biometric means. Among other facilities are power back up through diesel gen-sets.
Extra curricular activities For all-round development of the students, the college lays enough emphasis on various extracurricular activities inside the campus, including the annual cultural program called the Abhivyakti. There are workshops on acting and dancing. The college also focuses on the environment. There are plantation drives and gardening done by the students. From time to time, lectures are arranged on environment protection.
