About Vidyasagar School of Social Work
Vidyasagar School of Social Work, affiliated with Vidyasagar University, is located in Saltlake (Bidhannagar), Kolkata. This is one of the emerging colleges for social works in West Bengal accredited by AICTE and approved by UGC. Established in 1994, Vidyasagar School of Social Work is the only school for social work run by an NGO in eastern India. This college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in social work.
The courses offered are Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), Master of Social Work (MSW) and PG Diploma courses in Psycho Counseling. BSW is a three-year course having six semesters. MSW is a two-year postgraduate course. The duration of the special course PG Diploma in Psycho Counseling is one year.
Infrastructure A vast library with a large collection of books on social work, behavioral science, development studies, and economics. Additional facilities like canteen, sports, transport, and hostel facilities are also provided to students.
Admission Facility of online admission is provided on the college website. Students who want to take admission can apply online through the college website. Candidates can also directly approach the college for admission.
