About the college
Dr NSAM First Grade College located in the outskirts of Bangalore City at a place called Hesaraghatta. The college is one among several colleges under Nitte Educational Trust which has a high reputation in the field of education.
The college offers various undergraduate programs, management courses, value-added courses and foundation programs for various professional courses. The college is duly approved by the UGC and affiliated with Bangalore University.
Infrastructure facilities
Dr NSAM First Grade College, Bangalore has a beautiful campus constructed on over 3 acres of land. The classrooms are ICT enabled with audio-visual support. Entire campus is WiFi enabled with high-speed uninterrupted internet facility. The laboratory facilities are available for all branches including computers, business lab and language lab. There are two seminar halls named Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Seminar Hall and B.S. Raman Seminar Hall.
The college has an open-air auditorium called Dr. K. Shivarama Karanth Auditorium which can accommodate not less than 400 people comfortably. The college has safety features like CCTV surveillance, manual guards, fire safety measures and ramps & lifts for the ease of people with disabilities.
The college has separate hostels for boys and girls with facilities like single and shared accommodation, separate study rooms. Outdoor and indoor sports are available. The college has sports annexes known as Abhinav Bindra Indoor Sports Room, BKS Iyengar Yoga Hall and Karnam Malleswari Gymnasium.
There is a medical centre with an in-house nursing and doctor on call facility. The college has a understanding with M.S. Ramaiah Hospital for treating medical emergencies. The college has its own transport facility.
