About Tripurasundari College of Nursing
Tripurasundari College of Nursing, located at Agartala in Tripura state, is one of the finest nursing colleges in the region. Established in 2011, this college is affiliated with the University of Tripura and accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The primary goal of the educational institution is to produce professionally trained nurses who will provide comprehensive health care to the public with commitment & compassion.
Infrastructure
Tripurasundari College of Nursing is a college with excellent infrastructure. The college has laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The computer lab, nursing foundation lab, AV-aids lab, community lab, nutrition lab, MCH lab, and anatomy & psychology lab are all equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. There are spacious and well-ventilated classrooms to provide a good learning environment for students.
The library which has over 3000 books, and Indian, foreign journals, is one of the highlights. This vast library contains numerous reference books, public reading magazines, and newspapers. The library is managed by an experienced librarian.
Separate hostel facilities are provided for boys and girls. Hostel accommodation will be provided from the opening day of the academic session. There is a mess facility right next to the hostel. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, breakfast, and tiffin are available at very affordable prices.
With a strong emphasis on sports and games, the college offers students the opportunity for both indoor and outdoor games. There is also a special classroom for indoor games. In their spare time, students play chess, carrom and many other indoor games. The college has badminton, cricket, and volleyball courts for outdoor games.
Courses
Tripurasundari College of Nursing mainly offers two courses. General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) course and B.Sc. Nursing course. GNM is a three and half year diploma course. B.Sc Nursing course is an undergraduate degree course. The duration of the B.Sc Nursing course is 4 years.
Admission
Students seeking admission to the GNM course must have passed 10+2 taking Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. Admission to the GNM course every year starts on 1st September and closes on 30th September.
The minimum educational qualification for a B.Sc nursing course is passing of Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination / Senior School Certificate Examination (10 + 2) with science subjects. Must have obtained at least 45% marks. Admission to the B.Sc Nursing course starts on 1st July every year and closes on 31st August.

Completed application and copy of certificates along with the application fee should be sent to the college office within the stipulated time. Applications can also be obtained directly from the College Office.
Admission to the GNM course is purely based on merit. Students will be invited for personal interviews on a merit basis. Admission is based on performance in the personal interview.
Students who want admission to the B.Sc Nursing course should appear for the entrance examination conducted by the School Board. Marks obtained in the entrance test and performance in the personal interview will be considered for admission to the B.Sc Nursing course.
