About Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbia College & Hospital

Ayurvedic and Unani College is located in the Karol Bagh area of New Delhi. It was founded on 23 July 1889 by the then Deputy Commissioner of the Delhi. The college offers education on ayurvedic way of treatment for diseases and also offers courses in Yoga and other similar such fields. This is one of the high-ranking colleges in Delhi, where the cut-off for admission is quite high. It was initially a private college, but now is in the hands of Delhi Government and treated as a government college.

The college also has a hospital and a research centre where patients come for treatment and students do research and practice. The college offers specialisation in Panchakarma, Prasutitantra /Stree Yoga and in many other fields. As far as building infrastructure is concerned it has a historical outlook but facilities are at par with the best.
