MIT Bangalore is the new engineering college started by the prestigious Manipal Institute of Technology (MAHE) group. The Bangalore campus received the AICTE approval to start the following engineering courses for the 2021 - 2022 academic year:

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi has approved the following 5 BTech programs from the academic year 2021 - 22:
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Computer Science and Engineering
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence)
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security)
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Information Technology
Eligibility criteria to apply for B Tech in MIT Bengaluru
Students must meet one of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for engineering in MIT Bengaluru campus:
Indian Boards
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject* as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects
A Levels
Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science or any technical vocational subject as optional subject in the 'A' Levels and English in the 'AS' / IGCSE / GCSE. The minimum grade required is an average of 'D' grade in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects. Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams
IB
English, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science or any technical vocational subject* as optional subject (preferably Mathematics and Physics at HL level). The IB Diploma or IB Certificate with a minimum average of 4 points for Physics, Mathematics and any optional subject* with an overall minimum of 24 points
How to apply for B Tech in MIT Bangalore?
Even though the admissions was just started this year, the admissions to the B Tech programs in MIT Bangalore is only through the common counselling process conducted by MAHE. Candidates must have appeared for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2021 and be awarded a MET 2021 Rank.
B Tech Fees in MIT Bangalore

About MIT Bangalore Campus
The MIT Bangalore campus is located at Yelahanka, 22 KM from Kempegowda Bus Station, 20 KM from Kempegowda International Airport and 3.5 KM from the main Airport Road. There is separate hostel facilities available for Boys and Girls.
Experienced faculty members and teachers will available on the campus to support the students. Senior faculty members will be deputed from the MIT Manipal campus as well.
The date of commencement of the classes will be intimated soon. Due to the pandemic situation, classes may be offered online in the initial stages as per the guidelines from the government and other authorities.
