About Sahya Arts & Science College
In Malappuram, Kerala, Sahya Arts and Science College, Wandoor, is a higher education institution run under the auspices of Sahya Pravasi co-operative society limited. The college was founded in 2013, and on the basis of its connection with the University of Calicut, it received administrative approval to begin offering five undergraduate programmes in 2013–2014. The college has a functional infrastructure and is evolving as a center for higher education. Five kilometers from Wandoor, in Vellampuram, the main building's construction was finished on a piece of land that was both scenic and environmentally friendly. The land is spread out over a large area of 5 acres, and the environment provides an ideal setting for the pursuit of knowledge. The college has got the Kerala government's approval as well as Calicut University's affiliation in a short amount of time. The initial group of students attended classes in a makeshift structure on Kalikavu Road, just a short distance from Wandoor Junction. Sahya's office is also located in this structure.
