Sriram College of Arts & Science is one of the institute of Sriram Educational Trust. Started in the year 1998, it is affiliated to the University of Madras & Approved by the AICTE.
It has air-conditioned computer centre with more than 130 computers, well established library with latest journals and magazines.

AcademicsSriram College of Arts and Science offers UG and PG programmes in Arts, Science and Commerce. The students are given both theoretical and practical education in a comfortable learning environment. The college provides special coaching to the undergraduate students and Tamil medium students who find it difficult to learn in English medium. To provide wide exposure and to enrich the subject knowledge, the college organizes workshops, guest lectures and industrial visits. Other than academics, the college also conducts special soft skill training programmes to develop personality and communication skills among the students.
InfrastructureSriram College of Arts and Science is located at Perumalpattu in Thiruvallur district. The college campus is quite big and has state-of-the-art infrastructure. The classrooms are furnished and spacious. The students are given practical education in well-equipped laboratories. Separate laboratories are available for Physics, Chemistry and Computer. The college library and information center has vast collection of books, references and periodicals. The library also has reading room where the students can take notes and read books. To conduct workshops, conferences and meetings, the college has a large indoor auditorium and a mini-auditorium with good acoustics system.
The college has co-operative stores, wi-fi facility and bank. The canteen which is present inside the campus has separate dining hall for staff and students and it provides healthy food at a nominal cost. To unleash the sports talent of the students, the college has facilities for indoor and outdoor games such as carrom, chess, table tennis, badminton, hockey, football, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball and cricket. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls with facilities such as mess, dining hall, gym, health care and RO water plant. The college also provides transport facilities to the day scholars.
ActivitiesThe college has service wings such as NSS, YRC and RRC. The service wings of the college trains the students and involves them into the service oriented activities in the society. The students are given training in civic awareness and community services. The volunteers in NSS, YRC and RRC serve the society by conducting hospital visits, blood donation camps, awareness programmes, rallies, etc. The college gives importance to physical education and the interested students are given special training in games and sports such as volley ball, kho-kho, weight lifting, boxing, chess, power lifting, badminton, cricket, football and athletics.
