About College of Engineering Trivandrum
Located in Kulathoor near Sreekariyam in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala, the College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram is one of the top engineering colleges in Kerala. The college is affiliated to University of Kerala and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. College of Engineering, Trivandrum was founded in 1939 by Sree Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the Maharaja of Travancore. The architectural department of this college is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. In engineering, computer applications, and architecture, the college provides a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Each year, admissions to these programs are held at the College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram.

Students get admission to 68 courses in a variety of disciplines, including computer science, industrial, mechanical, and electronics & communication engineering. The score achieved in the Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM), administered by the Commissioner of Entrance Exam (CEE), is the basis for admission to B.Tech programs. Students who want to get admission to M.Tech, M.Plan, and M.Arch need a valid GATE score. For M.B.A course admission candidates are required to submit their CMAT/CAT/KMAT scores. Students who are interested in pursuing an MCA can apply on the LBS Centre website, take the admission exam, and participate in the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP), where their seats are assigned depending on their rank.
