This college is the first Womens College in Madurai.It is an autonomous college, being affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University.There are many facilities provided in this college. The facilities are Library and archives,computing center,counselling center,career guidance center,center for womens studies,resedential hall,center for music,telephone both,indoor stadium,lunch room,guest house etc.,
They are providing extra curricular activities for the students.

This is Christian college established in 1948,and became autonomous in the year 1978.This college is affiliated to Madurai Kamarajar University.Though there always huge traffic around the college,but it will not affect the students as the college campus is so big,and for the need of college students studying here there is State Bank of India branch.
This college strives to develop the students intellectual powers, locate, identify and cultivate their interests and talents and train them to be a good citizens.
For extra curricular activities,there are so many clubs such as Maths club,Science club,Tamil club,English club and much more.
In the Sports,this college students performs good and participated and won several matches in Volley-ball,and other sports.There are in-door games also.

Lady Doak College alias LDC was established in 1948,
it is one of the best arts&science college in Madurai for girls,
the college is well know for sports activities all over India
students from all over world are studying and teaching in there
the tutors are very well experienced ones
My sis also studied there and now she is a scientist in biotechnology
the campus is full of good and big trees and nice environment
