Hello friends,
I am a student of V R Siddhartha engineering college, Vijayawada. I`m pursuing my B Tech 3rd year from this esteemed college.I`m one of the luckiest persons in this world to study here n this college.First ever engineering college to be established in Andhra pradesh state.A student can have an all round development once when he enters into this college.Along with education we have very good infrastructure for sports.
While coming to the education, there are a total of seven branches,
1.Computer science Engineering
2.Electrical and communication Engineering
3.Information Technology
4.Mechanical Engineering
5.Electrical and Electronics Engineering
6.Civil Engineering
7.Electrical and Instrumental Engineering
All branches are NBA accredited.This a college with Autonomous status.All branches function on their own and not under any university.Very good lab facilities are provided in each branch.Faculty is also very helpful and all of them are B tech graduates and some are PhD holders.
Along with Academics, we have very good sports infrastructure.A cricket ground, one of the best of it`s kind in the whole state is an added asset to this college.Many leading trophies are organized here in this ground.Along with cricket, there are 2 Volley ball courts and two shuttle and two Tennis courts and Table tennis courts.Every student can go and participate in these sports.
A library which is one of the best of it`s kind in the state has around 12,000 volumes of books and a various kinds technical magazines.Digital library is also available where students can use the digital world using internet and also intranet.Every student can get two books at a time and can take more by getting permission for heads.
In and around Vijayawada only a few colleges have campus placement facility, one of the college is V R Siddhartha engineering college.
Companies such as Infosys, TCS, Virtusa, Syntel, IBM, Wipro are some of those companies which offer placement for the students of this college.This college has a 100% placement facility for students.Very few colleges in this India can give this assurence.

| A review on V.R.Siddhartha college(C.S.E)
Hi friends,
I am proud to say that I am a student of one of the A.Ps best engineering colleges that is V.R.Siddhartha popularly known as Siddhartha,V.R.S.E.C.I am very much happy to join in this college because of each and every inch of our college is very friendly and will help its students to become better not only in the technical aspects but also in all round aspects.Our college offers 7 different engineering courses along with M.C.A and M.B.A.Various courses of our college include Mechanical,E.E.E,E.I.E,E.C.E,C.S.E,Civil and Information Technology.
I am a student of C.S.E branch and I am much more than satisfied by my branch.In the beginning I am not interested in the course want to do some electrical side but the faculty in our branch has created such an interest that I dont want to stop here with my B-Tech degree,but to continue with my P.G study also.The faculty members here are very friendly and they create such an atmosphere that even a student who has no interest also will get interest after hearing their lectures.
We have faculty members who have experience more than 10 years.Our college was started in the year 1979 and we have our branch included in the curriculum from 1985 onwards.From then on our branch stood top among all the branches not only in the placements but also in people with knowledge.The most disappointing thing is our branch got "BEST STUDENT OF THE YEAR" only once.There are 3 computer labs provided for students with 45 in one and 35,35 in other two.We are also provided with a hardware lab which provides a gateway to the students to know about the internal parts of the computer and we are having a M-Tech lab which have 30 system used on some special occasions.Our block is provided with library facility with around 1500 books on various fields of Computer Science.
We have 140 members as staff including lab assistants and office receptionist.The most exciting feature of our branch is each and every Thursday we will have a cultural event called ASSET which is the biggest asset of computer science branch.Every week students are given opportunity to test their communication skills.Along with the academics we have our own branch teams in all the sporting events also.Our branch holds the credit of having the only player in soft ball among all the engineering institutes that come under NAGARJUNA University.
