About Govt. Polytechnic for Women

The polytechnic is in minority dominated Mewat Area, Uttawar village is a prominent village of this area which is well connected by roads to Hodal (22 KM), Firozpur Zhirka (45 KM), Nuh (22 KM) ,Palwal (25 KM) ,Faridabad(60 KM), Gurgaon(65 KM) cities. To provide infrastructure in this industrially backward area, this polytechnic was started in Jan.1992. This institute spreads over 28 acres of land in bush green area. The institute offers 3 years Diploma in Mech. Engg, Computer Engg., Information Technology, Office Management & Computer Application and 2 years Diploma in Pharmacy with total intake of 265 students.
