About Ramananda College
Ramananda College, Bishnupur is affiliated to The University of Burdwan not to the university of, West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).
This is an degree college not an Technical Institution.
The college was named after the illustrious son of the district of Bankura, Sri Ramananda Chattopadhyay, noted journalists, editor and scholar. The college was initially affiliated to the University of Calcutta and later on to the University of Burdwan and duly recognized by the U.G.C under section 12 B & 2 f. The college with best academic standard offers Honours & General courses in Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Philosophy, Geography, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Physiology. It has separate morning shift for the Commerce section.
