About Leelaben Dashrathbhai Ramdas Patel (Ldrp) Institute Of Technology And Research
1. LDRP Institute of Technology and Research is the academic arm of the prestigious 85 years old philanthropic trust - Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal, which is engaged in the spread of education in North Gujarat . The institute was established in the year of 2005 to take up the challenges of effective education and training of professionals for careers in Engineering and other allied subjects. The institute offers AICTE approved Engineering Programme with Mechanical, Electrical, Computer and Electronics and Communication AND Information and Technology Engineering branches. The institute has received approval for starting an additional MBA programme within the Engineering College from the academic year 2006-07.
It has also become deemed university with its own university center in the college campus.
This institute of professional education is housed in the sprawling 10-acre campus situated in picturesque locales of Gandhinagar. Right from their inception this institute sincerely committed itself to the cause of professional education and hence has spread no efforts to create an academic environment conducive for effective learning. About CampusLeelaben Dashrathbhai Ramdas Patel (LDRP) Institute of Technology and Research is located at 30 kilometers from Ahmedabad in Gandhinagar. Campus is landscaped with green lawns and various types of trees.24 hour's security system is provided in campus. Only authorized persons are allowed to enter in the campus.
Classrooms and LaboratoriesClassrooms are designed spacious and fully equipped with ultra modern facilities. Projectors with audio visual equipment are installed in each class room. For interactive learning, experimental learning as well as counselling purpose, tutorial rooms are also provided.

About LibraryThe college library has a good collection of more than 8000 books, more than 650 educational CDs, more than 30 international and national journals & magazines. Apart from this the library has subscribed Digital Engineering Library and E-Journal for assessing more than 12,000 e-journals.
About WorkshopTotal 1400 square meters built up area is allotted for the workshop. Workshop is well designed and constructed on reinforced cement concrete roofing. Workshop is well equipped with all related machinery and tools. In workshop, comfortable environment is maintained during performance of experiments.
About HostelIn campus, separate Hostel facility for boys and girls are provided. Continuous drinking water supply is provided for these hostels. The mess facility is also available for hostel.
For Staff members, eighteen separate spacious blocks with all necessary amenities are provided.
About College CanteenThe college canteen is built very huge and spacious for easiness of students as well as staff. In canteen, hygienic food is provided at a normal rate. The specialty of the canteen is that it opens in 7.00 a.m. morning and closes on 1.00 a.m. midnight.
About Transport facilityAs college campus is away from city, the college management provides buses on Ahmedabad route and Gandhinagar route. The charges of the transportation are cost to cost basis.
Other facilitiesIn the college building, separate boys and girls rooms are also available. For Indoor games such as Chess, Caroms and Table Tennis, college provided special sports hall. The specious ground is also provided for Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, etc
