Alluri Sitarama Raju Academy of Medical Sciences (ASRAM), Eluru is established in the year 1999 with its attached hospital. The campus of this college is spread over 100 acres of land with calm and peace environment. This college is situated near to NH 5 at just 3km from Eluru railway station and approximately 35km from Gannavaram airport. This college is recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi and affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. At the time of establishment the intake of MBBS students was 100 per year and it has increased to 150 per year from 2009-10 academic year. The Post Graduate courses started from the year 2007 and at present this college is providing MD and MS courses in almost all specialties. This college is famous for its good academic results. This college is maintaining high standard infrastructure with well equipped operation theatres, library with 14,000 various books with AC, air conditioned lecture halls, sports ground, gymnasium and modern teaching techniques with qualified and experienced teaching staff.
