About J.B Institute of Engineering & Technology
Established in the year 1993 by Sri J. Bhaskar Rao with the lofty aim of providing quality professional education and meeting the rising expectations of young students in Andhra Pradesh. J.B. Educational Society has been striving to achieve the objective of pursuit of excellence in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Hotel Management and Information Technology.
JBIET is situated on 27.5 acres of land on the main road and established an Engineering College at Yenkapally village, Vikarabad main road, Moinabad Mandal, Hyderabad - 75, with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The college started functioning from the academic year 1998-99 in the name of J.B. Institute of Engineering & Technology with four branches with a total intake of 240 students. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The present strength in the college is around 4000 students. With Annual Intake of 1050 Students JBIET is having highest intake among all Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
JBIET is acreditated by NBA-AICTE . It has applied for Prestigious NAAC (Given by UGC) acreditation as well. JBIET has already got No Obejection Certificate from Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council to become deemed University and inspection for it by UGC is expected in July 2009.
It gives me an immense pleasure to start a "Write-Up" about my college. It is established in the year 1988 in 27acres. Placement cell is headed by Prof. V.V.RANGASAI.Apart from the placements workshops are organized and Expert Lectures for training the students in the area of Soft skills and Technical skills. College has all the facilities which a student is in need off. To name a few- Hostel,Library,Sports,Health-Center,Canteen,Bank,Post Office.Annual day is organized yearly where students enjoy themselves at the fullest.
