About TKM Institute of Technology
The TKM Institute of Technology is the latest institute from the TKM Trust in Kerala. Located in a lush green environment of 25 acres on the Musaliar Hills which are located at Karuvelil.
The Technology institute is located along with the Management Institute and they are about 23 kilometers from the Kollam city and about 3 kilometers from the junction called Cheerankavu from the National Highway No. 208, which happens to be the Kollam - Madurai Highway.
The college has got approval from the AICTE and is also affiliated to the Cochin University of Science and Technology. The college is imparting knowledge from the year 2002.
For now, the college offers education courses in 6 trades to finally give the degree of Bachelor in Technology.
The enchanting environment is away from the disturbances of the city, thus providing a calm environment to learn the art and skill of advanced technologies at the college. The building is a separate 2 storied building which has classrooms to impart the knowledge, staff rooms, and laboratories in the same building.

The candidates with min 50% marks for Physics, Chemistry & Maths are eligible to apply for B.Tech admission. The seats are divides as:
50% merit & 50% management quota. The merit seats are filled on the basis of rank obtained for Common Entrance Examinations conducted by the Controller of Entrance examinations. For seats under management quota, the following criteria are considered:
Marks obtained for the qualifying exam
Marks obtained for Common Entrance Exam
Marks obtained for an interview conducted by the institute
