About Maharana Pratap College Of Technology

The Institute has been built on a land, 20 acres in area with construction of nearly 20,000 Sq. M. in a pollution-free surrounding. The campus is easily approachable from all corners of greater gwalior.

Laboratories - The Institute has an elegantly furnished workshops and laboratories as per AICTE norms and guidelines of RGPV (University of Technology of M.P.) Bhopal. These are being constantly upgraded by adding latest equipments and models.

Library - The college has central library besides departmental library facilities available in all departments. The central library has a purposeful collection of more than 12,000 books Engg., computer Application, Science & Humanities. National and International journals, magazines and newspapers numbering more than 20 are subscribed by the library.

The teaching staff is well educated. The knowledge is imparted in english language and in a professional manner.

The campus placement is very good. Some of the recruiting companies include Huges, Wipro BPO, Apeksha Telecom, ITL Industries, Satyam, Infosys, Energy Infratech, Suzlon Energy Ltd, CMC Ltd, Schinder Electric India Pvt. Ltd., Cadbury. The Chairperson of the college is Mr. Ram Singh Dhakre.

Maharana Pratap College of Technology is an average institute in Gwalior. Pros: 1. The campus is huge. 2. The Laboratories are well equipped. 3. Placement is okay. 4. Hostel facility is present. Cons: 1. Teaching staff is not very well qualified. 2. There have been incidents of ragging in the past. 3. There are very few options to eat near the college.
