Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical college is one of the prestigious institution in India for better education in medical field.It attracts students from all over the world, especially Africa, West Asia and South East Asia.His Majesty Shah Saud Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia visited the University in 1955 and donated Rs. one million for the establishment of Medical College. The college has always been ranked in Top 25 Medical colleges in India,Very recently Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical college is 22nd in India Today Top 25 Medical colleges in India.The college infrastructure and lab facility are excellent.More over in 2009 goverment of India decided to Upgrade it to the level of AIIMS like Institutions Under Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna.College aims to bring out the best in students and mold them into capable and caring human beings.College fees is also very low compare to other medical colleges. The main problem here is Out patients section and carelessness in emergency clinic. Overall i will give 9/10 to this college in comparison to other Medical colleges India.
