About Budha Institute of Dental Sciences
The institute started in the year 1984 and is the oldest Private Dental College in the Eastern Northern part of India. The management of the institute is taking care by a registered society- “Gautam International Pratisthan" and it is also working as a sponsor for the same. The bachelor of Dental Surgery or the graduation course in dentistry is approved by the Dental Council of India and the institute is affiliated to Magadh University, Bodh Gaya, Bihar.
The institute is doing excellent in providing all the modern and advanced training to the students and also supports different research activities in the field of oral and dental health care and treatments. The research works of students are also presented in various debates, exhibitions, college official journals, CDE Programs, etc.
Facilities The institute is having a very rich library with a collection of journals, books, periodicals, etc. It also has online internet access, photocopy facility, printing, thermal binding, image scanning and spiral binding, lamination, etc. making it more like an Audio-visual library.
The classrooms are more like lecture halls which are equipped with smart boards, broadband internet facilities and multimedia. They also have projectors, audio-visual systems, etc to support the advanced learning in students. The institute also has separate seminar halls and discussion halls to be used for various purposes like symposium and CDE.
Separate hostels for boys and girls are available but the girls' hostels are inside the campus whereas the boys' hostels are in the nearby area. Students get a separate bed, table, chair, and cupboard. The rooms for PG students are also having air-conditioners and Wi-Fi facility. The conference hall is equipped with all the facilities like latest multimedia, etc. There are two canteens in the campus offering good, hygienic food at reasonable rates to students and faculty. Apart from the above-mentioned facilities, the institute also has proper arrangements for making the environment ragging free.
