About Ayurved Seva Sangh's Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nashik
Ayurved Seva Sangh's Ayurved Mahavidyalaya was originally founded in the year 1924 in Ahmednagar but later in the year 1945, it was shifted to Nashik in the state of Maharashtra. This is an institution for Ayurved education and is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. It is having the objective of providing scientific education of Ayurved to the students desirous of doing Ayurvedic courses like BAMS, MD, MS, Ph.D., etc. The college is well equipped with all the facilities for the students like Lecture Halls, Laboratories, Academic Departments, Library, Hostel, Canteen, and Auditorium Hall. The college holds regular Ayurvedic camps in tribal areas to help especially the poor and needy patients.
AdmissionsFor applying for admission in the courses in this college, the students have to qualify in the NEET examination and the score of the student in that would be the deciding factor for making the merit list for admission to these courses in this institution. The students who have qualified in the NEET exam have to produce the following documents in original along with a set of their copies at the time of document verification in the college. 1. Mark Sheet and certificate of HSC. 2. Mark Sheet and certificate of SSC. 3. Admit Card and Mark Sheet of NEET examination. 4. Character and Transfer Certificate (TC) from an earlier institute. 5. Aadhar card. 6. Recent Colour Photograph of the candidate - 1 No. 7. Caste certificate if applicable in case of the candidate.
For all India general quota candidates, there are 15% seats reserved in this institution.
Once admission is finalized the student has to deposit the fee in the college. At the time of admission to the first year for the BAMS course, the fee is Rs 57097 for 15% of all India general quota candidates and Rs 47397 for the state general quota candidates respectively. The fee for the reserved category candidates is considerably less and is Rs 29547 / Rs 10197 / Rs 7197 only for the state quota EWS / OBC-SBC / SC-ST candidates respectively. - Umesh
